There are two larger nursery rooms on the main floor set up with full sized climbing playgrounds, each with an adult sized covered litter box, and many fun-skillful toys to engage the young kittens as they grow. Each room has a 2 story pen for newborn kittens with moms, & very young kittens in training which is their home until they are 4 weeks old. All nursery areas are well monitored with safety gated entrances. This allows the moms to come and go as they please and discourages other resident cats from entering the family area.
Uptairs is the smaller nursery which is a quiet area
for newborns and those moms that need more privacy.
It is also used as a kitten nursery room for smaller
litters complete with a Kitty Fort, toys and
adult sized covered litter box. Floor is newly covered
in environmental-friendly marmoleum for optimum health
& cleanliness.
